James D. Richardson, 57

James D. Richardson, 57, died Thursday, February 1, 2007. He was born June 12, 1949 in Gideon, Missouri the son of Certie M. (Book) Rodier of Malden, Missouri and the late Joel Richardson. He will be remembered as a U. S. Army Chief Warrant Officer proudly serving his country for 24 years, retiring in 2001. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife Danielle; four sons, James (Heather) Richardson of Fieldon, Illinois, Justin Richardson of Piedmont, Missouri, Jordan Richardson of Piedmont, Missouri, Joseph Richardson of Salem Missouri; one daughter Jeannette (Bryan) Kromray of Granite City, Illinois; five grandchildren, Stephanie Richardson, Michael Richardson, Alexia Richardson, Elizabeth Kromray and Allison Kromray. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by one brother, Larry Richardson; two sisters, Dorothy Marie McPherson and Ruby Wigington. Visitation will be held at Irwin Chapel, 3960 Maryville Road, Granite City on Monday, February 5, 2007 from 5 to 8 p.m. Graveside services will be held at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, Missouri on Tuesday, February 6, 2007 at 1 p.m. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
