"This is a great partnership that will help generate additional awareness about United Way," said Paul Wellhausen, president of Lewis & Clark Marine, Inc., who also is serving as the 2008 campaign chairman for the Tri-Cities Area Division. The website provider, located in Granite City, has agreed to list a business profile for United Way to include the organization's logo, provide a rotating billboard for the organization, the posting of United Way press releases and a link to the organization's web site. Current United Way news also will be included in email blasts to more than 5,000 people linked to the web site. "The United Way provides services for so many people and the inclusion of United Way information on the web site will allow for increased visibility throughout the community and the region," Sykes said. The Tri-Cities Area Division serves the cities of Granite City, Madison, Venice, Pontoon Beach and Mitchell. More than one million people in our bi-state community receive services that strengthen families, help the elderly, keep children healthy and safe, and build stronger families.
